Your child's data
What FoxySchool keeps so learning can carry on where it stopped, and who can see it.
What we keep
- The email address and name used to sign in
- The name your child chooses to show, their school year and age if they add them
- Answers, progress, homework and coins
- Photos of school topics, only if your child uploads them
Who can see it
- Your child
- Parents or carers your child has invited
- Teachers of classes your child has joined
- The FoxySchool team, to run the site and help when something goes wrong
Parents see progress, homework and recent answers. Ask Foxy chats and uploaded photos are not shown on the parent page.

Questions parents ask
Will I ever be charged without knowing?
No. FoxySchool has no payment page and never asks for card details, so there is nothing that can renew or charge you.
Are there adverts?
No. There are no adverts in FoxySchool and no adverts aimed at your child.
Can my child spend money on coins?
No. Coins are earned by learning and can only be spent in the FoxyShop, for example on a gold name. They cannot be bought.
Is it safe? Who can my child talk to?
There is no way for learners to send each other messages. A parent link starts only when your child makes a link for your email address, and the invitation runs out after 14 days. Teachers see a learner after the learner accepts their invitation, after the teacher approves the learner's request to join a class with its class code, or when the FoxySchool team links them. Leaderboards and word game rooms show the name your child chooses, so a first name or nickname is a good choice.
Is AI used with my child's answers?
Most answers are marked by clear rules, not AI. An AI service helps in a few optional places: marking a written answer on a practice paper when your child asks, choosing which hint to show in some lessons, and sorting school topics your child adds. It is sent the learning content, such as the question, what your child wrote or a photo they upload, but never their name or email from their account. Ask Foxy help records are deleted after 30 days. Each account can use AI marking for up to 2 paper attempts, 12 Ask Foxy requests and 10 lesson answer checks each day, within daily and monthly AI usage limits. Lessons, published hints, rule-based marking and saved feedback remain available when an AI limit is reached.
What age is it for?
Lessons follow the UK curriculum for Years 6 to 11, from KS2 to GCSE. Your child can set their year in Settings to see the right courses.
Can my child's school use it?
Yes. Teachers can create classes, invite learners and set homework. Teachers ask for teacher access when they sign up, the FoxySchool team checks each request before switching it on, and there is no school price list.
Can an account be closed?
Yes. Choose Close my account in Settings and the FoxySchool team switches the account off, so it can no longer sign in. Learning history is kept unless you ask us to delete it by emailing privacy@foxyschool.com.
